Eskers

The Eskers are an expanse of low ridges of mostly loamy, sandy soil with sparse vegetation dotting the area. The openness of the area, ridges aside, offers a great view of the surrounding lands, from the Ochotona Mountains to the north, to the Ferral Sea in the distant east. Directly south of the Eskers is Azul Canyon, and to the northeast are the Ashen Domes.

Despite its relative close proximity to the Ashen Domes, the Eskers are not known for being particularly warm, and in actuality, suffer from harsh winter winds blowing down over the Ochotonas, and sweeping in across the plains from the nearby ocean.
